The Arrest Module records and tracks all information related to the arrest of individuals.  You may access the Arrest Module directly from the module menu to record information about an arrest where no Incident Report is completed, or you may access the Arrest Module as part of the Incident Report process.  When accessed from the Incident Reporting process, a direct link is automatically established between the Arrest Record and Incident Record.

Charges are easily selected by the user.  By typing in the first few letters of the actual charge - for example - "burg" - all of the matching charges appear in a browse box for the user to select from.  The matching Statute Code is automatically assigned by  BADGE.  BADGE Police comes with the entire state penal code already loaded into the database. An editor utility allows the agency system administrator to edit, modify, add and delete other offense codes as necessary, such as Local Ordinances or University Regent Codes.  An unlimited number of charges may be recorded for each arrest.
