Computer
Aided Dispatch

Today's communications center personnel require an
intuitive, easy to use CAD System that provides fast access to critical
information.
Today's administrators demand a reliable, scalable system
that utilizes the latest client/server technology to accurately track and
record complete incident and call information. Cardinal's CAD SE
system utilizes Cardinal's own
Transaction Server technology combined
with Microsoft's SQL Server database.
The result is a very fast, reliable Computer Aided
Dispatch System that dispatcher and administrator can rest assured will
handle heavy call volumes without slowing down during critical busy activity
times.
CAD
SE
provides dispatchers with a powerful, user configurable,
simultaneous display of unit status, available units, current
call information and other agency-specific interfaces.
Dispatch units by address, intersection, familiar name,
business name or alarm number.
The powerful command line feature allows dispatchers to
quickly and efficiently initiate a variety of pre-defined
activities.
Histories of previous calls at a location and previous
incidents involving a caller are immediately available.
Automatic hazard and medical alert status windows display to
warn dispatchers of conditions officers in the field need to be
aware of.
Activity and Briefing logs allow capture of additional
data without the use of pencil and paper.
Seamless integration with Cardinal's BADGE
SE Police RMS
provides instant access to critical information involving
warrants, arrests, stolen/recovered property, incidents, known
associates, vehicles and citations.
The 911 interface displays the caller's name, phone
number and location, then transfers the information to the
pending call screen.
An additional interface provides instant access to State
and NCIC databases without leaving the CAD
SE
System.
A single license plate check during a traffic stop
queries the local BADGE
RMS database as well as required State and National databases.
A Mobile interface allows for silent wireless
dispatching.
