Incident Module

Incident sub-modules are available to record additional information about the case. Any information entered in these modules is seamlessly linked to the Incident Report and becomes a part of the case.

BADGE POLICE is designed for maximum ease of use.  An example is how offenses are coded by the user.  Instead of choosing from a long list of 5 character codes, BADGE users simply type the first few letters of the offense description.  A list of matching offenses appear for the user to select from.  BADGE POLICE takes care of the UCR/NIBR coding from there.  It could not be easier!  And remember, BADGE does not simply capture the UCR/NIBR information - BADGE actually prints the standard UCR Reports / and produces a formatted, validated ASCII text file required for NIBRS submission.

BADGE POLICE is installed and configured with your state's penal code and associated offense descriptions.  BADGE includes a utility program to edit the NIBR/CJIS codes as necessary. Your system administrator can create new codes to include local ordinances or university regent rules and regulations.

BADGE can be used by agencies required to submit UCR or NIBRS reports.  Because NIBRS data fields are available, critical information is captured that will benefit your agency in analysis of Hate Crimes.

Digital Images may be assigned to Incident Reports and an unlimited number of entries can be added to each Incident Report in sub modules including:
  • Offense
  • Victim
  • Offender (Suspects)
  • Property
  • Arrest
  • Supplements
  • Involved Persons
