Field Unit Configuration Utility provides you the flexibility and
control you need to manage your automated citation issuance system.
As your needs and requirements change, you control how your
system is configured.

Your agency may decide to not utilize
digital signatures when you first implement the system. Six months
later, your Judge and Court decide it would be to their advantage to
utilize the digital signatures. All you have to do is click the
check box next to "Capture Defendant Signature on HHU" to enable this
feature. A new configuration file is created, automatically
uploaded to all field units, and now the signature capture box will
appear on the handheld when a citation is issued!
This is just one example of the various
configurations settings you can modify to meet the specific needs of
your court or police department as they change.
