MobileCite LT is Cardinal's Laptop version of our easy-to-use e-citation issuance software.  It was designed for those agencies that wish to use Laptops or MDT's in their patrol vehicles, rather than handhelds,  to quickly issue any type of citation.

We designed the User Interface to closely match our MobileCite E-Citation Handheld Software. This allows Motorcycle or Bicycle Officers to feel right at home with the software when they need to utilize a patrol car because of weather conditions or other circumstances.

MobileCite LT has all of the same great features of our handheld software, but operates on any Laptop or MDT running Microsoft's Windows® Operating System.  Citations can be printed to Zebra's RW420 Rugged Mobile Printer, or any standard Windows compatible printer.  Touch-screen and non-touch-screen Laptops are compatible with MobileCite LT, as Cardinal makes extensive use of "hot-keys", "drop-down boxes" and "checkboxes" to minimize the number of keystrokes required by the officer.   MobileCite LT scans the violator's drivers license through an attached Mag-Card or Bar Code Reader and automatically populates the applicable information into the citation data fields.

Just as with our handheld solution, citation data is stored in XML format. And because Cardinal utilizes the same XML based Configuration, Print and Violation files (all easily agency configurable using our Base software), your agency can easily mix and match Laptop/MDT MobileCite units with MobileCite Handheld units.  Cardinal's advanced communications software allows for quick and easy download and upload of data from the laptops either wirelessly or using a non-wireless storage media.
