Police Records Management

BADGE SE  Police is your complete Police Records Management System with user-customizable help, and point-and-click reporting. You couldn't ask for an easier system to learn and use. And BADGE SE gives Departments standardized UCR and validated NIBRS reporting.

BADGE SE Police records and tracks all information from the initial report of an incident in the Dispatch Module through final disposition. Dispatch record information can automatically create an Incident record. BADGE SE even includes integrated spell-checking. Use a digital camera to store an image of each person in your Master Name file. Summary function provides an Incident Report "snapshot," providing an instant overview of offenses, victims, property, arrests, and other information.

BADGE SE Police is NIBRS compliant. Error-checking validates reports to meet national FBI NIBRS requirements. Users can validate an individual incident report while in the Incident Module, thus streamlining error-checking when the reports are compiled for submission to the state. BADGE SE also provides standard UCR reporting for those agencies not utilizing NIBRS.

BADGE SE Police integrates seamlessly with other BADGE SE products to produce an entire Public Safety Management System.  You can share Master Name information with Cardinal's BADGE SE COURT Management System, BADGE SE CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) system, and BADGE SE PLIS (Photo Lineup Imaging System). At the same time, BADGE SE COURT  shares Master Vehicle, Citation, and Warrant data  with BADGE SE Police.um

•Incident Report Summary - Each Incident Report includes an Graphical Incident Summary, which provides an instant overview of offenses, victims, property, arrests and other information. There's no better way to get so much information about an Incident Report in so short a time.

•Master Name / Digital Imaging - The BADGE SE Police Master Name Module allows for the storage and association of unlimited images for each Master Name record. This information is linked to the BADGE SE Photo Lineup Imaging System (PLIS) to eliminate the need to re-enter data in your mugshot system.

•Reporting - When compared to other systems on the market, BADGE SE Police excels when it comes to providing users with the type of reports they desire. Cardinal knows the key to an outstanding Records Management System is providing users with an easy to use, powerful report generator.  Choose from the standard reports included with the BADGE SE Police System, add over 250 pre-formatted, professionally designed reports with Report Central, and create your own custom reports with Crystal Reports.  BADGE SE gives you three levels of reporting to choose from:

•Narrative Editor - Add notes (text) to any record in any module in the BADGE SE Police System.  This gives users the capability to add additional relevant information to any record either by keyboard entry or by "cutting and pasting" text from any Windows program or word processor.  Users are always alerted to the existence of notes for any record by the unique "open notepad" icon.  

•On-Line Help - When moving to a new RMS, you want your users to feel comfortable knowing that on-line help is always available while they are working.  BADGE SE Police offers four levels of customizable on-line help so your agency's users will always feel at ease.  Module Help gives overall direction and assistance in each module; Field Help provides detailed information about each field; Field Codes gives users a drop down list of all possible codes for selected fields; and Prompt Line Help gives information at the prompt line level, visible from every field.
