TickeTrak™ Certified Handhelds

Casio IT-3100       

A rugged handheld with crisp color screen and high speed integrated printer that weighs a mere 22.4 ounces. This rugged handheld has built-in Bluetooth capabilities and supports PC and SD memory card expansion options. Built to withstand a 4 foot drop to concrete and operate in temperatures from -4 degrees F to 122 degrees F. An optional imager allows for capturing images and reading barcodes.

Trimble Recon 400X     

The Trimble Recon X Series handheld delivers maximum performance and reliability in a lightweight (17 ounces) design that’s easy to carry. The Recon meets military specifications for drop, vibration and both high and low temperature operation; it’s even waterproof! The Recon includes integrated Bluetooth and 802.11g wireless communications capabilities to communicate with a Bluetooth printer and perform data transfers with your TickeTrak system.    Two Compact Flash card drives support the addition of a number of different options, while still maintaining the rugged and waterproof characteristics of this handheld.

 
Trimble NOMAD

Trimble builds on the success of the Recon with the most powerful and full featured handheld which happens to meet the rigorous MIL-STD-810F military standards for drops, vibration, humidity and extreme temperatures.   Of course, it is also waterproof.  The nomad includes integrated Bluetooth and 802.11g communications and also has built in GPS.  The full VGA display is stunning and the 806 MHz processor is the fastest available in a handheld device.  The Nomad is delivered with MS Windows Mobile 6 and includes 1GB of non-volatile memory.  Options are available for integrated Bar Code scanning and a 2 mega-pixel color camera to associate digital images with the violation.

Motorola MC9000   

An extremely rugged handheld unit; it's drop durability is rated at 6 feet, and it is sealed to operate in extreme weather conditions from -4 degrees F to 122 degrees F. The MC9000 is available in two models – Model K (Long) and Model S (Short).  Both models provide the convenience of a color touchscreen, and the Model K offers a full keyboard that is backlit for use in darkened conditions.  The MC9000 is available with built in Bluetooth, 802.11, or GSM (may have all 3) providing flexible wireless capability.  If your primary concern is ruggedness, you will want to check this unit out.

Designed to withstand all-day everyday use in nearly any environment, this rugged compact device delivers true anywhere anytime wireless WAN/LAN/PAN voice and data communications, including superior voice functionality, advanced data capture and the power to run Pocket TickeTrak and other applications.  The unit includes options for an integrated imager or bar code reader.

Zebra QL 320 Plus Thermal Printer 

The QL320’s rugged construction is ideal for rigors of parking enforcement.   Built in Bluetooth capabilities communicate with the handheld, and tickets are printed is just a few seconds.  A powerful battery easily lasts a shift, and an LCD display identifies the remaining battery capacity.  Loading tickets could not be easier and the QL320 will accommodate ticket rolls containing up to 100 tickets.

Zebra RW 420 Printer   

The RW in this model stands for Road Warrior, and this printer lives up to its name – rated for 6 ft. drops to concrete.  The RW 420 seamlessly integrates with the handheld computer with its’ Bluetooth communications.  This printer can accommodate a ticket up to 4 inches wide, and the recommended 3in wide ticket is also supported without any adjustments necessary.  Printing is quick and crisp, and includes options to print bar-codes or OCR characters.
