Looking
for a quick and easy way to find registered owner information for
vehicles issued parking tickets? It
doesn’t get any easier than ORIS!
Simply click on the TickeTrak ORIS inquiry screen
and specify desired selection criteria (dates, minimum and maximum
number of days old, minimum number of citations, and minimum amount
due). Choose whether to include previously processed citations,
citations with owners, or out of state license plates.
With the criteria specified,
click “OK” to start the process.
A preview grid is displayed showing all license plate candidates. Records may be added or deleted…
When the user is
satisfied with the list, the
records may be submitted for inquiry manually (disk file) or ONLINE.
If the user specifies ONLINE, the program will connect to
Cardinal’s SQL server database and insert those plates for submission. Once a certain threshold has been reached (minimum number of
outstanding inquiries or unprocessed inquiries older than a certain
number of days) the server will submit these records to LES (Law
Enforcement Systems) via email for processing.
LES will then send back files when hits are made and these files
are automatically read and the owner information deposited in our
server. When the user
connects ONLINE the next time, they will be notified they have
responses. The owner
information is then automatically imported into the client’s TickeTrak
8.0 system. The
client is billed quarterly by Cardinal based on the number of owner
records retrieved (cost is specific to each state). You
only pay for the number of "hits" in most states, not for the number of
submissions!

If
you are already a TickeTrak 8.0 Customer and want to add
ORIS, simply contact your
Cardinal Regional Sales Manager. You will be sent several
forms to complete and return. Shortly after that you can begin using
ORIS to quickly find the registered owners of all those
vehicles with outstanding parking citations!
